Parenting Plans
The law in Florida calls for parents with minor children to produce a parenting plan in writing. For a parenting plan to be accepted by the court, it has to contain, at least, the following details:
• a strategy for sharing the duties for day-to-day child-rearing tasks
• the child’s time-sharing schedule with each parent
• a specified home address for school enrollment and other activities
• a requirement of techniques and technologies that parents will utilize to correspond with the child and each other.
