Perhaps you were never married but you found yourself raising a child without the help of the other biological parent. Maybe you did get married and you were in shock when your ex asked for a divorce. Additionally, you could have been the one to file for divorce. No matter what happened, we can bet that this turn of events is probably not what you imagined. No one stands up on their wedding day and says their vows with the expectation that the marriage will end. Now after the divorce is final and the custody battle is over, you are left as a single parent with a lot more responsibilities. This quote is for you and serves as a reminder to always be the best parent possible. If you are currently going through a divorce, just continue to keep your child’s best interests in mind.
