Is it possible to reclaim custody if a parent loses it?

Yes, even if a parent has already lost custody rights, he or she can reclaim custody. The parent who has lost custody of their child must demonstrate to the court that they are making progress. They can do so by altering their circumstances or addressing the issues that resulted in the loss of care. For custody to be restored, there must be strong evidence that it is in the best interests of the children.
