Will I Get Child Support If I Have Custody?

Based on the children’s requirements, the court will assess how much child support is required.

Child support is usually paid by the other parent to the parent who has primary physical custody of the child. Both parents are expected to pay child support, but the primary custodial parent’s portion is accounted for by the costs of housing, feeding, and caring for the child.
