Mattson has recently received the title of AV Preeminent® in the area of family law for Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. This award is the highest peer review rating on the Martindale-Hubbell® website. During the review process, attorneys (or the peers of the lawyer in question) rank that lawyer based on his/her legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability, and legal experience. These individual rankings are then averaged to determine an attorney’s overall peer review rating. The AV Preeminent® rating is only awarded to attorneys who receive a score of 4.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale. Mr. Mattson currently has a 4.9 peer review rating in family law.
